Our Summer Math Camps for grades 1-8 support our mission of helping students find their joy of math through fun, social, team-based math competitions. Younger campers receive a solid math foundation and are introduced to how powerful math is. Older campers cover lots of topics from number theory to geometry to counting theory. We practice competition problems, explore new concepts, work in teams, and more. But don't expect to be sitting all day! We do get up and get moving both in the morning and in the afternoon.
This is week 1 of 3 full math camps we are offering. Each day camp runs for 1 week. This is a full day camp with a half-day options for campers entering grades 1-4. Camps will cover different material and later camps do not require students to attend earlier camps. There may be some overlap of content but each student will be challenged to the level they need. Our instructor to student ratio is 1:2 to 1:4.
Half day camp is from 9-12. Students need to bring a bottle of water. Snack provided. Campers should be picked up between noon and 12:15.
Full day camp is from 9-4:30. Students need to bring their lunch and a bottle of water. Snacks provided.
